The Beginning...
Though without any noted architectural significance, our building was built in 1900. For over 10 years the storefront was deserted and forgotten. The building was restored in 2006 and we transformed it into a multi leveled Art Gallery space known as IndexG.

In late 2007, we renovated the 2nd floor, completed with hardwood floor and ensuite bathrooms. What's once an exhibition space is now a 5 bedroom bed and breakfast. In Spring 2008 the IndexG B&B officially opened its doors for business.

A different kind of B&B experience
Our b&b is family-run and we are always around if you have any questions. Unlike many traditional b&b, our place is decorated with Urban, Contemporary living in mind.

Our aim is to provide our guests a comfortable, private environment, while maintaining the essential interaction many look for in a B&B.

Each room is clean and clutter free. You will find that the spirit of the gallery lives on with the selection of original artworks on the walls. (if you love it so much you want to see it in your home, these artworks by local and international artists are available for purchase)

Breakfast is served in the gallery on the ground floor in a continental style*. Guests can enjoy a variety of bread (sometimes homemade), cereal, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt and beverages, in a relaxing and inspirational environment. A great opportunity to mingle with other guests and meet new people! Our friendly hosts are always happy to tell you more about Toronto and how to get around the city.

* we do not serve hot breakfast.

Gallery and Artshop
IndexG was named Best New Gallery 2007 by NOW Magazine. We present quality shows all year round. With an amazing inventory of artworks by Canadian and International artists at great prices, it is a good spot for souvenirs-hunting!

COME STAY WITH ART, we look forward to accommodating you!
